I have spent the past eight years helping children of all abilities achieve places at top senior schools. I focus on ensuring that all sessions are dynamic, varied and challenging. During the sessions, I aim to develop each child's confidence in tackling any challenges they may face and ensure 11+ success. I have also worked with a number of children to support their learning of the Primary curriculum.

I taught classes of Year 4 and 5 pupils at one of the top prep schools in London. My planning, preparation, assessment, and reporting aimed to always meet children's varying learning and social needs. I planned appropriately to meet needs of all pupils, through differentiation of tasks. I regularly reported to parents on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.

In 2009 I set up my own private piano teaching business and in 2010 I started working in
partnership with Camden Music Service, teaching in central London primary and secondary
schools. I taught over 50 students both privately and through the music service. As a
peripatetic and private music teacher, I gained extensive experience of teaching the cello,
piano and music theory to adults and children of all musical abilities in schools and privately
in London. I taught both individual cello and piano lessons and group instrumental music
workshops for all ages from 5 upwards.
