My Experience
About Me
I am an engaging, patient and empathetic preparatory school teacher who has spent eight years tutoring children for senior school entrance examinations whilst also delivering guidance and support to pupils with the Primary curriculum.

I have worked as a preparatory school teacher and a private tutor since 2015, teaching at some leading preparatory schools in the London area.
I have extensive experience tutoring English, Maths and Reasoning for 11+ and 13+ examinations and school entrance exams.
Prior to 2015, I worked as a peripatetic music teacher and sports coach, teaching extra-curricular music and sport to a wide range of children of differing backgrounds, ages and abilities.

I believe a tutor's role is both academic and pastoral: to unlock the subject for the student and restore their learning confidence.
My approach is focused on patience, active listening, and tailoring my teaching style to the student's strengths and interests, making studying relaxed and fun.
